Dolly Parton
She’s probably the artist that I can relate to the most. I have always loved ‘Little Sparrow’, ‘Coat of Many Colors’, ‘Jolene’, and most recently ‘I will always love you’ (ridiculous as it sounds but I don’t quite opt out for powerhouse like Whitney Houston singing songs of Dolly) but not until today that everything came altogether and turned out to be all…Dolly’s work.
She has a real talent for telling story in her song and sings it as if she is talking in melodies. For me personally, no one would ever ever sing ‘I will always love you’ as Dolly does. She is the one and only.
All I want for Christmas is the Downton Abbey Script!! Seriously contemplating about pre-ordering some as holiday presents for my Austin friends. The Queen’s English never does me wrong.
